Certificates Were Presented to 14 Participants Of FTII's Weekend Screenplay Writing Course (Jan 5-March 17)

Certificates were presented to 14 participants of FTII's Weekend Screenplay Writing course (Jan 5-March 17),spread over 10 Saturdays and Sundays in the Campus with Vaidehi Sancheti (Screenplay Writing,2014) as Course Director. 14 participants (8 men,6 women) of age range 25-51 years selected for the Course came from four states ; Maharashtra (Pune, Mumbai), Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Surat),Kerala (Kozhikode) and New Delhi.

Course participants are from diverse educational and professional backgrounds---

Engineering, MBA, Computer Science, Journalism & Mass Media, Marketing Management, Industrial Psychology, Fine Arts, Design, MCA and MA (Marathi).

Course Director Vaidehi Sancheti is a screen writer for fiction and non-fiction films, TV and videos. She also writes for theatre, street plays and children’s content. A trained Civil and Water Management Engineer, Vaidehi worked for 8 years with Infosys Technologies before she enrolled at FTII. Vaidehi has conducted FTII's Screenplay Writing short course in Srinagar (J&K). This is the second weekend course by her in FTII campus.
