27 Students from India's Reputed National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi Were Presented Certificates for 10-Day Film Appreciation Course at FTII.

 

27 students of Acting, Direction and Scene Design from India's reputed National School of Drama (NSD) Delhi were presented Certificates at the end of their 10-day Film Appreciation course at FTII.

 

The Certificates were presented by Bhupendra Kainthola, Director, FTII and Santanu Bose, Dean, Academic Affairs,NSD in the presence of Varun Bhardwaj, Registrar, Dhiraj Meshram, Dean (Films) and Amit Tyagi, Course Director. 19 of the visiting final year NSD students are from Acting, 6 from Direction and 2 from Design.

"This unique course took the students on a journey from Film Appreciation to actually making their own 10-minute short film. In between they received tips on film acting from Benjamin Gilani, veteran actor and Mentor, Dept of Screen Acting, FTII and then proceeded to improvise scenes, writing and acting in the scenes besides helping with the actual production. FTII's camera, sound and editing technicians guided the production process, helping the students as they made a few mistakes too." said Amit Tyagi summing up the Course activities.
